Section 3 - Installing the OBM

This section describes how to install the OBM backup client application.

3.1 Installing OBM on Windows platforms

There are three installation methods available:





• Installation wizard
• Command line
• Command line (Silent installation)




Note:


For VMware Fusion virtual machine installation on Windows platform, if the mirrored desktop option is enabled. OBM cannot be started after its installation. For more information, please refer to our 1.7 Cannot start OBM / ACB on Windows guest VM on VMware Fusion server with mirrored desktop folder for reference.
