Section 6 - Configuring backup Sets

A backup set defines the configuration of a backup routine, such as backup schedule, backup source and encryption setting as well as other options.

6.2 Single backup account for multiple computers

Multiple computers within the same customer geographical site can be backed up with a single backup account / plan. However, separate backup sets must be created for each computer as a backup set cannot be shared across multiple computers.

A maximum of 10 backup sets per account / plan can be created. A specific backup set must be created for each computer.

When creating backup sets in this environment, please ensure that the [Run scheduled backup on this computer] setting is properly configured for each computer. Failure to do so may result in data lost.
